1. After you have received your enrollment form and copies of The Way to Happiness, read it with your parents. Then get their permission for you to participate in this contest.
How to Do a
"Set A Good Example" Project
and Become a Winner
2. Decide which of the following age groups your project entry belongs in:
- Group A: 6, 7 or 8 years of age
- Group B: 9, 10 or 11 years of age
- Group C: 12, 13 or 14 years of age
- Group D: 15, 16 or 17 years of age
3. Plan and do a project of your choice that sets a good example for others and demonstrates how to:
- Safeguard and Improve the Environment
- Or another theme of your choice chosen from The Way to Happiness
4. When you have finished doing your project write or type a report describing your project in detail (700 words or less). Explain how you did it and why you deserve to win the contest. Send proof of your accomplishments with your letter. Proof can be in the form of photographs, letters or statements from other people who saw and liked the good example you've set, artwork, newspaper clippings etc.
5. Mail your report, pictures and other proof of your project to the Children's Set a Good Example Contest at the address below.
6. All projects must be completed with reports and proof mailed to the address below postmarked no later than midnight April 10, 2003. Judging will take place later in April. Winners will be announced no later than May 30th. Be sure to hand print your name, full address and telephone number in the upper right hand corner of your report. Be certain to include a completed enrollment card signed by a parent or legal guardian with your project report. Note: any project that does not have an enrollment card signed by parent or guardian will automatically be disqualified from the competition.
