This Year's Gold Medal Winners
of the Set A Good Example Contests
A word about one of our sponsers...
Dr. Richard Palmquist has sponsored the Children's Set A Good Example Contest, which implements The Way to Happiness' precepts, for probably 20 years.
His belief in the moral value and integrity of our youth has interested him in sponsoring a city-wide event in the city of Inglewood, California for many years. The success of the statistics in Harlingen and a letter from Mayor Connie de la Garza to the Mayor of Inglewood now makes Dr. Palmquist's dream close to a reality. The Inglewood citywide campaign is ready to begin this year.
The grandmother of Jeremy Carnes, our next Gold Medal winner in the Set A Good Example Contest, saw a poster in Dr. Palmquist's office and she called the CBAA national headquarters for six packets to enter her grandchildren. Little did she know that two of her grandchildren would win. Jeremy won the Gold Medal award and Jasmine, his sister, won National Honors for her moving letter of how she helps her family.
Next week you will hear more, and in detail, about the National Gold Medal winners this year.
