He wanted the halls to be safe, for pupils not to fight and for the community to praise the school at the end of Woodland Street in East Nashville.

When his teacher asked his class to develop such a program, Anthony asked his class to join the "Set a Good Example" campaign, based in California.

His classmates agreed and the pupils began acting nice, saying please and thank you and shaking hands with strangers who entered the building. Soon pupils throughout the school wanted to participate and were being caught being good.

Pupils were given points for good behavior, being polite and being helpful. Points were taken away for fighting, arguing and being disrespectful.

The program became so successful that yesterday the school was recognized for placing fourth out of 1,300 schools nationwide taking part in the "Set a Good Example" program.

Dear Fellow American's,

Destruction of the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, the flight downed in Pennsylvania, the mounting statistics of lives lost, leaves one shocked and saying "NO! not in America." Then reality hits. It is true. "Who to Blame? Why?" Like many others I felt the anger and the fear. Later I recalled reading the following article entitled "An Idea Versus War," in a magazine called Certainty. So I pulled it out to share with you, my American compatriots.

"The initial form of creation is an idea, and from an idea flows the energy and forms the necessary action. Destruction requires action when that destruction embraces nations, towns, and bodies of man. Since civilization began on Earth men have been seeking to destroy men in the "glorious cause of ending war." Force begets force; the spear only seeks the weak point of the shield; the shield itself, offered long enough, will provoke the invention of a spear which will pierce it." —L Ron Hubbard – August 1955.

The destruction in NY, DC, like Oklahoma; the riots in Cincinnati and Watts, the violence in our schools are all based on disagreements. The purpose of The Way To Happiness book is to help mankind coexist in peace. It does this because it puts into the hands of a child, a parent, a teacher, business leader or anyone a workable set of simple common sense ideas they can all agree upon. It focuses attention on what people can agree on and takes attention off what people disagree on.

The Way To Happiness was written specifically as a non-religious work so that any group, public or private, could use its message to help "bring calm to a troubled world."

It is appropriate to any walk of life, any cultural or ethnic background, religious or otherwise.

In times like these children especially need lots of reassurance. Our nationwide Children's Set A Good Example programs have helped thousands and thousands of parents and teachers help millions of children grow happier using the simple truths contained in The Way To Happiness book.

Businesses in cities across America have joined our CBAA Children's Campaign Membership Network. They are helping to provide copies of The Way To Happiness book to parents and teachers for children in their local communities. Here is how the campaign works:

Business "A" becomes a member of our campaign to bring The Way To Happiness to every child in every city in America. CBAA provides each member with red, white an blue display boxes filled with books. These colorful boxes are placed where people can pick up free gift copies for self and to give as gifts to others. Additional books are shipped each month to the business based on the quantity used. New Member "A" encourages two other businesses to join the campaign. This way we build a national grassroots team of businesses that are keeping the booklet flowing, and flowing, and flowing. This works to help everyone, the business, customers and clients because as the author says about The Way To Happiness:

"All you have to do is keep that booklet flowing in the society. Like gentle oil spread upon the raging sea, the calm will flow outward and outward."

"You, you personally can DO something about the way things are! Just agree it is your gift to give. And give it."
